World's Fair Wonder - Civilization 7
Wonders are the most important thing you can build in Civilization 7, and we make a huge effort to make them feel as special and beautiful as possible. The World's Fair is extra special, as completing it grants the player a cultural victory, so we did a lot to make it feel grand. We also wanted it to represent the idea of different cultures coming together, so I created decorative arches in some of the various cultural styles. I had the pleasure of modelling this wonder and its build states, and I also concepted the build states myself. The finished version's concept was created by the talented Erik Bakker. I pitched the idea to represent the idea of different cultures appearing at the world fair by having decorative arches in their own unique styles. I concepted and modeled the arches as well as sculpted the globe and figures.
